Comparison of “Chaganite” with Trinitite

This chart compares initial activities (i.e. on the day of the blast) found in Lake Chagan slag and Trinitite. The Chagan data is my own; the Trinitite data comes from Pittauerova, Kolb, et. al., “Radioactivity in Trinitite: a review and new measurements”, Proc. 3rd Eur. IRPA Conf., Helsinki, 14-16 June 2010. “Chaganite” is much more radioactive.
