Lavrenty Beria’s house

Lavrenti Beria’s part-time home at the test site is now a church. Beria was a cruel and formidable boss; people who crossed him frequently ended up in the GULAG or simply dead. In 2001, women’s bones were found in the garden of his home in Moscow (now the Tunisian embassy to Russia), testament to his personal habit of raping and killing. Who knows what grisly secrets lie buried on this property?
