Fueling floor

It’s a normal day in the life of a BWR as seen from the top floor of the reactor building. The crane is moving spent fuel bundles so that the workers seen here can “hydrolaze” them (clean them with high-pressure water). The circular area behind the crane is the reactor cap, underneath which the reactor is hard at work–this is NOT an outage.
